Our Family is having many changes this season of time. We are growing and expanding and reproducing at a rapid rate. Just 10 years ago there were only 8 Ellsworths and 1 fine Claridge man.
And now there are 22 of us, and soon to be 23!! After we change to the 23, one daughter is adding a husband, which moves us to 24!!! And he has 6 sisters!!! With V's 5 sisters, that will give her 11 sisters and sister-in-laws. WOW
And of course, we do have 5 grand-daughters, who are the lovely nieces and the new in-laws have 4 grand-daughters. So, if you are keeping up, that is 11 sisters and sister-in-laws, with 9 nieces (grand-daughters). 20, folks that is TWENTY !! So, if you are co-ordinating wedding clothes, this is a lot of females !!!

The Idiot Phase aka Clueless is my Middle Name
This is what happens in your life, when you are getting ready for major changes. Almost everyone goes through this. It starts around your senior year of high school (if you went to high school). Continuing until you have been on your own for a while, or you got married and had some dependents, or you had a few extra bills and a little less $$$ or you are in the raging hormone time of life.
Anyhow, The Idiot Phase almost always happens.
It can last a few months, a few years, or in extreme cases a few decades (more or less!) We try to get people out as quickly as possible, but some are lost in the vortex of time and remain in this phase for a really, really long time. And we do know a few of those !!
Some clues you are in this phase or could be entering it!!
1. You know everything and your family knows nothing.
2. Your parents are so crazy. They think they know what’s going on?
3. Your employers are sooooo ?!!?!?! The make such a big deal about being on time and ready to work and doing it every single day.
4. The teachers are all ridiculous. You already know everything they are saying. You do know how to read a textbook, after all.
5. Any other car on the road is driven by crazy people, that are out to get you. They, on purpose, will cut you off and/or turn right in front of you. You are the only good driver that you know?!?!
6. Your parents are so funny. They think that you should have a job if you have a credit card.
7. Your siblings are so demanding. They want you to take turns and do your own work. Even though, everyone knows that you are way too important for pesky chores. Whatever. You are way too busy and have a life.
8. Your parents are so silly and foolish. They think you should learn to be interdependent and you are independent!!!
9. Your friends are totally awesome…… They are always there for you and have never let you down…… They do everything you want and they really understand you….….
Idiotic, Privileged, Oblivious, Beloved, Clueless, Cherished,
Take your pick………

Once upon a time, a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away……
7-7-77 happened.
7-7-77 happened.
And the Ellsworth oldest and Christensen youngest decided to unite.
And many, many things happened until it was 8-8-88.
And the family rejoiced and decided to remember. So a canvas was bought and paint was chosen and then we began. The oldest was excited, while the favorite son just washed and washed and washed his hands. The middle child, for the moment was thrilled, this was great.
The 3 year old thought it was the best finger-painting in the whole world.
And the youngest (for a while) was not happy, very very not happy.

And the dog, thought he would die. Mr. Fritzi von Ellsworth, didn't like having his paws put in paint. He did not like being held to the canvas and he especially did not like being picked up!!

1 Dog, 5 Children, 2 Parents
....And life went on and on and on ....
9-9-99.....Some were married…..some were on missions……some were in cosmetology school…….some were baking……some were reading……..and there was another……the last, the end, the finale…… so we added another set of handprints to our picture…..we were not all together and that made us sad.
And now 9-09-09, there are now 22 in the Ellsworth Eight Etc.,
but only 2 left at home and here they are.

And Everyone lived happily ever after. The End.
